20 Day Program
Our award-winning program brings over 600 hours (5 Staff x 6 hours per day x 20 days) of onsite expertise directly to your campus. It combines the best elements of a Spark Day with multiple Three-Day Builds, curriculum-aligned Big Builds, and follow-up coaching and support to transform how teachers teach and how students learn. This deeply immersive, long-term engagement enables students to develop proficiency in a variety of tools and skills as they progress through the program. A low student-to-mentor ratio ensures that every student has ample opportunity to use real tools and to form meaningful relationships with their mentor and classmates.
When the program concludes on Share Day, with students sharing their work and learning with the broader school community, STE(A)M Truck’s partnership and support for your school continues. A fully stocked Maker Cart, containing many of the tools students and teachers have used over the course of the program, remains in place at your school, and STE(A)M Truck staff provide hours of follow-up coaching and technical assistance to help teachers continue to incorporate hands-on, minds-on making into their classroom lessons.
