Susan Bergethon; Board Member

As Chief Counsel, Consumer Products at Georgia-Pacific, Susan Bergethon manages legal matters for some of the company’s most recognizable brands, including Dixie®, Vanity Fair®, Angel Soft®, Quilted Northern®, Sparkle®, and Brawny®. Her practice includes advising stakeholders on marketing and advertising claims, commercial contracts, product regulatory, safety and quality issues, and compliance matters. Susan has spent most of her career as in-house counsel supporting public and private companies of varying sizes – from Fortune 10 to family-owned businesses.

She received her J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law and a B.B.A. in International Business from the University of Georgia. With an extensive legal background, and connections to local organizations, Susan hopes to propel STE(A)M Truck’s name recognition and fundraising operations to new heights. Susan believes that providing STE(A)M education to communities that wouldn't otherwise have the opportunity is an important step in equalizing access to the field of STEM.
