Darius J. Williams is a nationally recognized educator, innovator, and advocate for educational equity, currently serving as Director of Programs and Partnerships at STE(A)M Truck. With over a decade of experience spanning classroom teaching, instructional design, and global professional learning, Darius brings a deep commitment to creating transformative educational experiences that empower youth and educators alike.

Before joining STE(A)M Truck, Darius led global initiatives on the Worldwide Education team at Apple, where he helped launch and scale the Apple Learning Coach program. Under his leadership, the program expanded from a national pilot to a worldwide model, supporting educators across 16 countries, impacting over 2.4 million students and 100,000+ educators—all through a free, equity-driven approach to instructional coaching.

A proud Morehouse College graduate with a master’s degree in Learning, Design, and Technology from the University of Georgia, Darius is also the founder of King Darius Books, a children’s book company committed to storytelling that centers Black joy, brilliance, and belonging. His work has earned honors including the 2025 Early Career Practitioner of the Year from UGA’s Mary Frances Early College of Education and selection to the LEAD Atlanta Class of 2024.

At STE(A)M Truck, Darius leads strategy, partnerships, and program development—bringing his full self to the work of expanding access to high-quality STEAM learning for students who have been historically left out of innovation spaces. With a passion for mentorship, creativity, and joyful learning, he is building the kind of future he wished for growing up in rural Georgia.
