Bring world-class maker education directly to your students with our mobile fabrication labs and expert educators. We partner with schools across Metro Atlanta and rural Georgia to provide:
Age-Appropriate Programming:
STE(A)M Sprouts (PreK-2nd Grade): Introduction to design thinking, basic engineering, and creative problem-solving through age-appropriate materials and hands-on exploration.
STE(A)M Surge (3rd-8th Grade): Intermediate maker skills including 3D design, laser cutting, robotics programming, and project-based learning aligned to Georgia standards.
STE(A)M Summit (9th-12th Grade): Advanced fabrication, real-world product design challenges, and career pathway exploration in partnership with industry leaders.

Join Free Community STEAM Events
You don't need to be enrolled in a formal program to experience STE(A)M Truck! We offer several ways for families and individuals to engage with hands-on maker education.
STE(A)M Truck Saturdays: Free monthly events at our Pittsburgh Yards Makerspace where families can drop in to explore making together. Each month features a different project—from building geodesic domes to designing wearable tech to programming robots. No registration required for most events.
Open Makerspace Hours: Visit our permanent makerspace at Pittsburgh Yards during open hours to work on personal projects, get help from our expert staff, or just explore the equipment.
Community Events: Find us at Atlanta Maker Faire, Atlanta Science Festival, and other community celebrations throughout the year.
